Idą święta, więc spróbujmy coś o karpiach. Żartuję. Šaran wprawdzie znaczy „karp”, a że żadne z nas nie przepada za tą rybą, to zostańmy jedynie w kontekście restauracyjnym.
Sam „Šaran” uchodził za jedną z lepszejszych restauracji na keju w Zemunie. W kraju mięsożerców szukaliśmy głównie możliwości zjedzenia czegoś bez tego podstawowego składnika. Łatwo nie było. Jednak przetrwaliśmy i mamy parę wege-rekomendacji. Może zrobimy z tego jakąś mapkę – byłby ktoś zainteresowany?
Christmas is coming, so let’s try something about carp. I’m kidding. Even though šaran (sharan) actually means „carp” none of us is fond of this oh so Christmassy fish for an average Pole, let us stay only in the restaurant context.
„Šaran” is considered one of the better restaurants on the Danube waterfront in Zemun. In the land of carnivores we were mainly looking for the opportunity to eat something without this essential ingredient. It was not easy. However, we have survived and we have a few veggie recommendations. Maybe we’ll make a map out of it – would anyone be interested?
