Natomiast stripovi w byłej Jugosławii to przede wszystkim kultowe tutaj a nam nieznane serie „Alan Ford” i „Zagor”. Z tutejszych autorów polecam twórczość Niny Bunjevac. A tymczasem wracam do Fixera.

Comics are still associated with something immature. It’s a little bit impossible for a grown-up Pole to take them seriously. Maybe the point is that the first thought runs towards series like the ones about Donald Duck, Superman, Garfield, and all of them seem so unimportant for the adults readers. OK, every now and then something like Maus or Persepolis will break through, but graphic novels by authors such as Joe SaccoCraig Thompson or Riad Sattouf have practically no taking.

However, the stripovi in the former Yugoslavia are represented first and foremost by the iconic series of „Alan Ford” and „Zagor” that are unknown in Poland. From the local authors, I can only recommend the works of Nina Bunjevac. And in the meantime, I’m going back to Fixer.
