Ruda – KIFLA

Po miejscowemu kifla to rogal. Taki z tych normalnych jak bułka maślana, nie z tych francuskich do kawy, bo te to kroasany. Mamy tu taką ulubioną piekarnię pod bokiem: Hleb i kifle (zapisane cyrylicą: Хлеб и Кифле), wprawdzie nie jest najtańsza, ale ma razowy chleb: madziarski rażeni. Tam stawiałem też pierwsze kroki po serbsku. Pani za ladą pytała bowiem: kesa? (czyli plastikowa siatka), której odmawiałem, mówiąc: Ne. To zresztą kolejny powód, dla którego ta piekarnia stała się naszą ulubioną, bo pakują w papier i pytają, czy doliczyć siatkę.

W sumie, jest jeszcze Pekara Petrović – tradycyjna, gdzie zaopatrujemy się w przepyszny burek. Nooo i tam od plastikowej torebki wymigać się jest mega ciężko…

In the local language kifla means a traditional roll, not a croissant, because these are known as kroasan. We have here such a favorite bakery under the side: Hleb i kifle (written in Cyrillic: Хлеб и Кифле), although it is not the cheapest, it has a wholemeal bread: majarski razheni. It is where I also took my first steps in Serbian. The lady behind the counter asked: kesa? (i.e. a plastic bag), which I refused: Ne. Another reason why this bakery has become our favorite is because they pack everything in paper bags and ask if you need a plastic one to carry it home.

All in all, there is also Pekara Petrović – a traditional one, where we buy delicious burek. Aaand it is super hard to avoid a plastic bag there.
