Nasz powszedni po serbsku hleb sprawił, że cierpliwie czekałem na Chorwację, aby napisać coś, co sprawi choć minimalne zaskoczenie. Bałkany od strony pieczywa wyglądają bardzo dobrze. Drżyjcie bezglutenowcy! Tyle piekarenek na głowę nie ma chyba w żadnym innym regionie.
Są i inne rzeczy życiowo istotne dla nas na co dzień: woda, słońce, internet, powietrze, targ warzywny. Różnie z nimi bywa: przez niektóre z nich opuściliśmy Kraków (sami zgadnijcie które), a pewne braki na nowym miejscu też potrafią dokuczyć (słaby internet, na przykład). Niemniej w miarę akceptowalny chleb zawsze jesteśmy w stanie znaleźć.
Bread is pronounced in the same way in Serbian and Polish which made me wait patiently for Croatia, so that there would be at least a minimal surprise. The Balkans are a great place when it comes to bakeries. Tremble gluten-free people! I don’t think there is another region with more bakeries per capita.
Of course, there are other things that are vital for us every day: water, sun, internet, air, vegetable market. We left Krakow because of some of them (guess which ones), and some deficiencies in the new place can also be annoying (weak internet, for example). However, as far as acceptable bread is concerned, we are always able to find it.
