Marzena i Andrzej – BIOSKOP

Miałem ogromną ochotę chodzić do belgradzkiej kinoteki, niestety szybko się okazało, że nie będzie napisów po angielsku, więc odpuściłem. Ku naszemu zaskoczeniu natomiast odkryliśmy, że „kino” po serbsku to bioskop. Trochę się uspokoiliśmy chyba dopiero w Sarajewie, gdzie po raz pierwszy poszliśmy do kina KINA (Chorwaci też używają właśnie tego słówka).

W ogóle, macie też tak, że nie chodzicie do kina podczas podróży?

My wyszliśmy z seansu z poczuciem zadomowienia. Wydaje mi się, że kino to coś takiego, na co zwyczajnie szkoda czasu, kiedy jest się nastawionym na zwiedzanie. Kino się ogląda „u siebie”, prawda?

I wanted to go to the cinematographic archive in Belgrade, unfortunately it turned out that there would be no English subtitles. To our surprise, however, we discovered that „cinema” in Serbian is bioskop. We calmed down only in Sarajevo, where we went to a „kino” which is also the Polish word for cinema (Croatians also use that word).

Do you ever go to the movies during your travels?

Anyway, we left the screening with a sense of domicile. It seems that cinema is just a waste of the time when you are focused on sightseeing. You watch movies „at home”, right?
